Hi, just wanted to share how much I love you products! When visiting my cousin in wales over the summer we picked up a packet of your dried peaches from Morrisons as a road trip snack. They are honestly the best and not chewy at all unlike other dried fruit I have tried. They are now mine and my cousins favourite fruit snack. Sunshine Delights® Soft & Chewy is our way of cutting down on food waste and satisfying your cravings all at once.
When we were making our Premium Quality dried fruit, cut into those big, beautiful slices, we realized something unfortunate—about 10-15% of the fruit was being wasted! And that’s just a shame, because this fruit is perfectly delicious and totally snack-worthy.
So, we decided to "save the fruit!" That's how our Soft & Chewy dried fruit was born—an effort to reduce food waste. These pieces are still soft, sweet, and tasty, but they’re a little chewier, a bit more irregular in shape, and packed with extra fiber.
They’re perfect for snacking, tossing into cereal, mixing with nuts, or even adding to salads. Since these are "rescued" products, availability is limited. But when you do spot them in stores, get ready for a tasty treat!
